Q - How to take Circular strike That entry must be there ?
A. - Well, I also Break in circular manner as my grip is scissor for strike so i can hit too hard on bunch of coin not only through reverse but through circular manner too and if strikei got my strike proper then i put 4 coins in net.
Well the way of taking Circular or Langda strike is very easy. you set your coins towards left pocket(or right) i.e two white carromen facing left base pocket. now the case comes where to hit to get proper strike?
When you Set your coins toward left side the structure of coins look like this...
Wait for image...
now you find that two White coin towards left base pocket, two towards opposite frame(not pocket) and two towards left side frame. now keep your striker straight to centre red circle, hit on side frame straight to left opposite base circle, The striker revolves and hit directly on white coin and result is two coin in left base, 1 each in opposite left pocket and right base pocket.
Well this all depends on force, you accuracy and yes board too
Q. What to choose if we win toss? Why all players choose strike first ?
A - Well Break is chosen by those who are comfortable at their sides. Break Is also the first choice because if strike goes well you can win a board and pressurized the opponent. Break also gives confidence of playing and give better fight to opponent.
If you are uncomfortable then Side Is better option, If you lose the 1st game because of side then you got disturbed and pressurized in 2nd game on other side so better to choose side if you are uncomfortable.
Side is not choosed because you have to play both side but somewhere it also plays important role as said above.
Q. What strike we should take in Doubles ?
A. This is obvious you will hit direct on coinset. You can hit reverse as in single if your partner is very weak. But normally you hit straight. I have seen some guys in national tournaments they set their coin towards right opposite pocket and hit on it and they dont think the next turn is of opponent right to you and result is this opponent got many coins to pocket. I also have done the same mistake.
Remember if you are taking straight strike then set your coins toward left opposite pocket and hit from right side of base lines or right base circle into it. Result is that opponent coins i.e black goes to left side frame and opponent to your right side got in difficulty.
Hit proper behind the white coin you will find that you get more coin open then opponents.
Strike in singles ?
Try to use scissor grip because this grip helps you in powerful strike
